International Building Safety Association awards BOAN Innovative Enterprise of the Year
At the 2024 International Building Safety Summit (IBSS), BOAN was awarded the Global Fireproof Material Innovation Award for its "Composite Insulated Fireproof Glass" technology. This award is presented by the International Building Safety Association (IBSA) to recognize companies that have made breakthrough contributions to the field of building fire prevention.
Award winning technical analysis:
Double layer tempered steel+fire-resistant adhesive interlayer: achieving 30-120 minute integrity and synchronized insulation protection;
Lightweight design: 42mm thick glass weighs only 71kg/m ², reducing building load-bearing pressure;
Multi scenario adaptation: has been applied to projects such as Guanghua Hospital in Hong Kong and Munich Business Center in Germany.
The CEO of BOAN stated at the award ceremony, "This award is a recognition of our commitment to the concept of 'safety is responsibility'. In the future, we will deepen our cooperation with European laboratories to develop fire-resistant glass products with lower energy consumption." Currently, BOAN is in talks with the Housing and Development Board (HDB) of Singapore to collaborate on smart fire protection systems and further expand into the Asia Pacific market.
